On Niagara sites
since 1951

The name

Until May 2026 the company was Cameron's Trucking. It ran under earlier names before that, and incorporated in the mid-nineties. In May 2026 it changed hands, and with new ownership came a new name, Cameron's Brokerage Inc., and a new model: the company stopped running trucks of its own and became dispatch only. The phone number did not change.

What we are

Cameron's is a truck brokerage and dispatch operation. It no longer owns or operates trucks. We broker trucks from owner-operators and fleets based in Niagara and the surrounding area onto contractors' job sites as the work comes in. The trucks are mostly tri-axle dump trucks, and the work depends on the job: asphalt, fill, stone and aggregate are all hauled.

A contractor makes one call. We match the job against the roster and confirm the trucks. Roster trucks are required to be licensed and insured, and the contractor deals with one dispatch desk for the whole order . Trucks are dispatched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; the office answers Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Ownership

The current owner spent more than ten years hauling for Cameron's as an independent owner-operator before buying the company.

The roster

The trucks are owned by the people who run them: owner-operators and fleets based in Niagara and the surrounding area, some with a single truck, some with drivers of their own. Cameron's puts local trucks on Niagara sites. Every truck on a job is paid the same rate, whoever owns it.
